Overview
Job Description Summary:
Evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages a wide range of medical conditions. Prescribes medications, develops patient treatment options, interprets and verifies test results, and collaborates with other healthcare providers for continued education to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Provides medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician. Conducts physical examinations, orders and interprets diagnostic tests. Works closely with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients. Educate patients and their families about healthcare issues, disease management, and preventive care.
Education and Experience Required:
- Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing
- 1+ years’ experience
Licensure, Certification or Registration Required:
- Valid American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida.
