AdventHealth seeks BE/BC Family Practitioners to join our growing GME Program in beautiful, sunny Wesley Chapel, FLORIDA! Our program starts in 2024 with 8 residents per program year. We're looking for faculty who will place a priority on quality of care, patient experience, collaboration, a passion for teaching and a desire be a part of a growing program.

Position Information:

  • Full Time. Out/inpatient setting.
  • Split schedule of resident supervision, personal clinic, admin time

AdventHealth Ocala seeks an Associate Program Director for our Family Medicine Residency Program starting in July 2025 with 8 residents per program year. Our team currently includes an experienced Program Director and 3 Core Family Medicine Faculty, plus well-trained, dedicated clinical staff.

We're looking for an Associate Program Director who has the desire to be a part of a growing program, a passion for medical education and who will place a priority on collaboration, quality of care, and the patient and resident experience.

The  Associate Program Director will share the responsibility for administering and maintaining an educational environment conducive to educating residents in each of the ACGME and ABFM competency areas. Candidates must be board certified in Family Medicine and will ideally have at least 3 years of graduate medical education experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Full time. Split schedule of resident supervision, personal clinical, and administrative time
  • Work with Program Director on program accreditation, resident recruitment, rotation scheduling, curriculum development and resident coaching.  
  • Serve as a senior member of the program evaluation committee and clinical competency committee.
  • Perform additional academic and clinical duties as assigned by the program director
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Model professionalism for residents, medical students and clinical staff.
  • Possess excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the EPIC EMR.

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking to employ Family Medicine Physicians to join our Family Medicine Residency Program in Sebring, Florida.  The program opened in 2021, with 8 residents per year. Obstetrics is not required but available.  With a new program, there is availability to develop areas that are passionate to you.  

Our 15,000+ square foot facility has so much to offer, from Prompt Care, to OB, to Family Medicine.  We have a wide range of patients in our growing community and a variety of cases & procedures for the residents to have a great experience in learning and practicing.

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking board certified/board eligible family or internal medicine physician to join a brand-new primary care office in Tampa, Florida. The new office location is opening in October 2023 in Tampa on Fletcher Avenue housing up to three primary care physicians. This location is across the street from AdventHealth Tampa Hospital and near the University of South Florida.  

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency program)
  • Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to joint injections, and minor dermatologic procedures
  • Experience with or willingness to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C)

At work, you will experience:

  • Work Life Balance Schedule. You can choose either a 4-day or 5-day work week to best fit your needs.
  • Patient Panel. Ability to see patients of all ages, pediatric through geriatric.

AdventHealth Carrollwood has the highest physician satisfaction scores of any of the 13 hospitals in the West FL Division. The tertiary center, AdventHealth Tampa with 626 beds, is located just 15 minutes away. The practice is open M-F, 8 am - 5 pm. A board eligible/board certified GI is needed due to growth in the Tampa Bay community of Carrollwood.
