AdventHealth is seeking an IBD fellowship trained physician to join our growing team in beautiful Tampa, Florida. The IBD physician will be joining an established group of seven gastroenterologists with APP support. The Digestive Health Institute Tampa is a relatively newer program that encompasses our Advanced Foregut, HBP and Liver Surgery, Colon and Rectal Surgery, as well as General Surgery. The GI practice is staffed with medical assistants, scribes, and program support staff.
Requirements:
- Board certification in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA)
- Fellowship training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Location: Tampa, FL - Specialty: Internal Medicine, Academic
AdventHealth has an immediate opportunity for an internal medicine physician for an academic faculty position in Tampa, Florida.
- Seeking experienced outpatient Internal Medicine physician (academic and research experience required)
- Be a part of our new internal medicine residency program (inaugural 2023). AdventHealth Tampa also has General Surgery and OBGYN residencies (inaugural 2024).
- Work Mon-Fri, off Tue afternoons, no weekends. Very light call.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine is required
- Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)

AdventHealth Medical Group Sebring FL is seeking an experienced core Internal Medicine outpatient only faculty physician for our Internal Medicine Residency program.

The Internal Medicine Residency began in 2022 and will have 24 Residents (8-8-8), and is a community-based program Sebring, Florida. We have a full-scope medical staff program, many resources available including the team in Orlando.
Responsibilities:
- To provide mentoring, teaching and supervision of the faculty, residents and students in the Internal Medicine Program.
- Assists the program director in mentoring and providing critical evaluations of the clinical and teaching effectiveness of the internal medicine residents and program.
- Practice and teach full-spectrum Internal Medicine.
- Teach didactics and assist in leading curriculum development.
- Interviewing and recruiting faculty for the clinic, maintaining adequate physician staffing at the clinical site, performing yearly reviews of faculty goals & accomplishments, providing direct clinical care to patients, teaching of Internal Medicine medical students and residency training in the clinic location, and conducting research.

AdventHealth West Florida Division Women's Services Institute is seeking a Medical Director. The director's medical specialty can be OB/Gyn, Maternal Fetal Medicine or Urogynecology. This leadership role will be 50% clinical and 50% administrative time.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Physician shall provide clinical direction, oversight, and physician leadership to all Ob/Gyn practices in West Florida.
- In collaboration with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) leadership, addresses clinical, behavior or operational concerns with providers raised by other providers, patients or staff
- Works with AHMG leadership regarding short and long term planning of physician and APP staffing
- Establish and implement standard clinical protocols, policies and procedures, in accordance with ACOG guidelines, for the delivery of patient care. Ensure protocols are consistently practiced across the group. Educate and correct practices that deviate.
- Focus on the effective delivery of patient care services offered by the Practice and the Practice’s compliance with the standards of applicable accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over one or more aspects of the Practice
- Reasonably participate with AHMG Leadership in its investigation of patient complaints and/or claims related to the stated practices
- Advise AHMG leadership relating to the purchase of clinical supplies, materials, and equipment necessary to practice according to the established clinical protocols
- Serves as a mentor to new physicians added to AHMG Ob/Gyn practices.
- Cooperate and participate with Employer in order to establish a “consumer-centric” environment and assist Employer in the management and resolution of complaints from patients and Medical Staff;
- Make or direct the making of such reports and records as may be required by regulatory bodies, whether public or private, and by Employer;
- Assist in the design and development of patient information, medical record, and consent forms for use within the Practice
- Provide recommendations for in-service training of practice staff to support clinical outcomes.
- Advise on the provision of inpatient services for hospitals with Women's Services and establish quality standards.
- Partner with business development to provide input on growth strategies for OBGYN service lines.

Location: Tampa, FL - Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology
AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking 2 board certified/eligible general ob/gyns to join our leading women's health care team at AdventHealth Tampa as a faculty member for our Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. If you are passionate about teaching with a desire to provide whole-person care as part of a team that values and respects physicians, we would love to speak with you!
Along with our Program Director and academic leadership team you will be helping to create a team of general ob/gyn physicians, working in collaboration with OBGYN hospitalists, Gynecologic Surgeons, FPMRS, and MFM physicians. We highly value teamwork, collegiality, and patient-centered care. You will have a voice in how your team cares for patients and provides innovative resident and student education!
Primary scope of practice will include seeing patients in the clinic, teaching in the clinic and hospital, and taking 3 (24hour) call shifts per month. Gynecologic surgery can be incorporated into your practice, although not required.
Scope of Core Faculty responsibilities include participating in the recruitment, selection, instruction, supervision, evaluation, and advancement of residents. All Core Faculty members are expected to be role models of professionalism, demonstrate commitment to the delivery of safe, quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care, and demonstrate a strong interest in the education of residents.
If desired, this position also offers leadership opportunities and the availability of participating in media events focused on patient education and community health. Our leaders also offer mentoring if desired.

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking to employ a board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN to join our established practice in Davenport, Florida. The OBGYN will have access to up-to-date technology, DaVinci Xi, tenure staff, and very engaged leadership from AdventHealth Medical Group and AdventHealth Heart of Florida. The OBGYN would join 3 OBGYNs. The medical group in the area has 33+ providers and plans to double within the year, increasing the primary care to around 40 providers. OBGYN to join should enjoy working with a team, collaboration with peers and extending AdventHealth's mission, vision and standards to our community. First call is covered by CNMs. Group delivers just under 1000 babies per year. Davenport, Haines City, Winter Haven, Lake Wales area is one of the fastest growing areas of the country. 10% growth rate each year for the past three years. We are looking for those that want to build a legacy, a program that they would want their children to deliver their babies and beyond.
Requirements for the position:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OBGYN
- 5+ years' experience is preferred.
