AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking to employ an Associate Chief Medical Officer to join our executive team at AdventHealth Lake Wales in Lake Wales, Florida. This position is a .4 FTE.

The Associate CMO is responsible for assisting the Heart of Florida and Lake Wales CMO in improving clinical outcomes for internally tracked performance improvement data and publicly reported outcomes at AdventHealth Lake Wales.  The Associate CMO assists the CMO in performance improvement, risk management, continuing medical education, medical staff office, medical school affiliation(s) and residency programs.  The Associate CMO serves as physician advisor to the Case Management staff and serves as physician liaison to promote appropriate utilization of resources by the medical staff.  Performance improvement efforts will result in improved service for patients, medical staff members and lower cost.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Five years professional, post-residency experience in direct patient care
  • One-three years in an executive leadership role within a small to medium integrated health system

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Master’s Degree in Health or Business Administration
  • Five (5) years in a medical staff leadership role within a medium to large integrated health system

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where facility located
  • Certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in respective specialty.

Location: Sebring, FL - Specialty: Family Medicine, Academic

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking to employ Family Medicine Physician to join our Family Medicine Residency Program in Sebring, Florida.  The program opened in 2021, with 8 residents per year.  No OB is required.  Possible outpatient only or include inpatient too. Interest in seeing children is a plus.  Flexible.

Requirements for the positionBoard Certification in Family Medicine and some academia experience.

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking board certified/board eligible family or internal medicine physician to join a brand-new primary care office in Tampa, Florida. The new office location is opening in October 2023 in Tampa on Fletcher Avenue housing up to three primary care physicians. This location is across the street from AdventHealth Tampa Hospital and near the University of South Florida.  

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency program)
  • Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to joint injections, and minor dermatologic procedures
  • Experience with or willingness to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C)

At work, you will experience:

  • Work Life Balance Schedule. You can choose either a 4-day or 5-day work week to best fit your needs.

AdventHealth Carrollwood, a busy, community hospital with 119 beds is currently recruiting a GI to join the team of 3 employed GI's. Spanish speaking a plus! AdventHealth Carrollwood has the highest physician satisfaction scores of any of the 13 hospitals in the West FL Division. The tertiary center, AdventHealth Tampa with 626 beds, is located just 15 minutes away. The practice is open M-F, 8 am - 5 pm. A board eligible/board certified GI is needed due to growth in the Tampa Bay community of Carrollwood.
