This physician will practice at a new satellite clinic coming to Tampa in the Odessa area in 2027 and will cover the Tampa hospital. This will be a multispecialty clinic with 50% primary care so the ideal candidate will have built in referrals.

Job Description Summary:

As a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), you’ll provide compassionate, evidence-based care to women throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum recovery, and routine gynecologic needs. Working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, you’ll support whole-person health by promoting wellness, patient education, and exceptional clinical outcomes. Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Advanced knowledge of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic care.
• Knowledge of evidence-based midwifery practices, clinical protocols, and patient safety standards.
• Understanding of preventative healthcare, family planning, breastfeeding support, and women’s wellness services.
• Understanding of quality improvement principles and population health initiatives.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
• Ability to manage low-risk pregnancies and provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care within scope of practice.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills with diverse patient populations.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced clinical setting.

About the Opportunity
