Location: Tampa, FL - Specialty: Cardiology, Non-Invasive

AdventHealth Tampa, a 626-bed tertiary care center in AdventHealth West Florida Division (now comprised of 15 hospitals), is seeking a board-certified Noninvasive Cardiologist. This physician will practice at a new satellite clinic coming to Tampa in the Odessa area in 2027 and will cover the Tampa hospital. This will be a multispecialty clinic with 50% primary care so the ideal candidate will have built in referrals.

Advent Health Heart, Lung, and Vascular Institute provides comprehensive cardiovascular services and is Accredited by the American College of Cardiology with centers for transcatheter valve therapy, cardiac catheterization, cardiac electrophysiology, advanced heart failure, chest pain and myocardial infarction therapy and holds the National Center of Distinction designation as a HeartCare Center. Active cardiovascular research programs are supported by the AdventHealth Research Institute.

AdventHealth Zephyrhills and AdventHealth Dade City are seeking an experienced Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist.  This is a unique opportunity for a talented Cardiologist to join an employed Interventional Cardiologist currently along with several community providers.  Practice will be located in a new MOB opening in December in Zephyrhills.

Job Description Summary:

As a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), you’ll provide compassionate, evidence-based care to women throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum recovery, and routine gynecologic needs. Working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, you’ll support whole-person health by promoting wellness, patient education, and exceptional clinical outcomes. You’ll build meaningful relationships with patients and families while delivering high-quality care in a faith-based environment dedicated to extending the healing ministry of Christ.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Advanced knowledge of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic care.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based midwifery practices, clinical protocols, and patient safety standards.
  • Understanding of preventative healthcare, family planning, breastfeeding support, and women’s wellness services.
  • Understanding of quality improvement principles and population health initiatives.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Ability to manage low-risk pregnancies and provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care within scope of practice.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills with diverse patient populations.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in documentation, care coordination, and healthcare technology.

About the Opportunity

Work alongside a dedicated team of anesthesiologists, cardiac surgeons, and perfusionists to deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for:

  • CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) procedures
  • Electrophysiology (EP) cases
  • Structural Heart interventions

As a CRNA, you will be responsible for pre-anesthesia assessments, administration of general and regional anesthesia, intraoperative monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery.
