AdventHealth Dade City/AdventHealth Zephyrhills is recruiting an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join Advent Health Medical Group Cardiology Group. There are two office locations, Zephyrhills and Dade City. AdventHealth Zephyrhills has 149 beds and AdventHealth Dade City has 120 beds.
The Cardiology/EP Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) functions as a member of the Cardiovascular Services medical care management team. The Cardiac Electrophysiology APRN may diagnose medical conditions, plan, and implement treatment collaboratively agreed to in the Florida Hospital Physician Group medical staff delineation of clinical privileges for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses. Depending on the practice, the APRN may be required to take practice call.

AdventHealth Medical seeks multiple Nurse Practitioners to join our Cardiology group throughout our Tampa metro, North Pinellas, and Ocala areas.

The Role you'll contribute:
The APRN functions as a member of the medical care management team for physician practice patients (surgical and non-surgical). The ARNP may diagnose medical conditions, plan and implement treatment collaboratively agreed to in the Florida Hospital Physician Group medical staff delineation of clinical privileges for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners.
Principal Duties and Job Responsibilities:
- Provide services similar to those of a physician including but not limited to:
- Examine patients, take medical histories, maintain patient records, identify health risk factors, prescribe medications, make referrals and otherwise treat health conditions.
- Formulates and implements a treatment plan for acute illness management in collaboration with the designated primary supervising physician and/or attending back-up physician(s) and documents as necessary.
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests, explaining the necessity, preparation, nature, and anticipated effects of procedure(s) to patients, patient's family, staff, and healthcare learners.
- Focus on patient wellness and disease prevention/
- Provide health education services and/or counsel patients on how to make healthy lifestyle choices
- Participate in code blue and rapid response teams to provide immediate critical care support.
- Procedures performed, but no not limited to, insertion and management of arterial catheters, central venous caterers, pulmonary artery catheters, chest tubes and other procedures commensurate with an ICU environment, CPR; airway management including bag and mask ventilation, endotracheal intubation and extubation, repositioning endotracheal tubes; and defibrillation.
- Directing administration of life supporting drugs according to established protocols
- Performs and participates in quality/performance improvement activities, process enhancements, regulatory compliance, and clinical research
- Will need to work weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays
Education and Experience Required:
- MSN (Masters of Nursing) (Acute Care Certificated Required)
- 1 year as APRN in the ICU
- Previous Experience in a leadership role (preferred)
- Provides direct care with licensing credentials under the auspices of supervising MD
Licensure, Certification or Registration Required:
- Acute Care Certificate Required for APRN's
- Current ACLS and BLS Certification
- Current, valid Florida APRN License
- FCCS, ATLS Certifications (highly preferred but not required)

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking 2 board certified/eligible general ob/gyns to join our leading women's health care team at AdventHealth Tampa as a faculty member for our Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. AdventHealth Tampa Core OBGYN Faculty Roles
AdventHealth is seeking 4 experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologists to join our Academic OBGYN Residency Program at AdventHealth Tampa. Current needs are for 1 general and 3 OB hospitalist/laborist. Along with our Program Director and academic leadership team you will be joining General OB/GYNs, Laborists, Gynecologic Surgeons, FPMRS, and MFM physicians.
Primary scope of general OB practice will include seeing patients in the clinic, teaching in the clinic and hospital, and taking 3 (24hour) call shifts per month. Gynecologic surgery can be incorporated into your practice, although not required.
Responsibilities of the OB/GYN Hospitalist provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting, ensuring high-quality, round-the-clock care for patients. Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery, responding to obstetric emergencies, performing deliveries and surgical procedures, and collaborating with nurses, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes. Additionally, hospitalists provide consultative services, support emergency department evaluations, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. As part of a Graduate Medical Education (GME) program, the hospitalist will also play a key role in mentoring and supervising OB/GYN residents, providing hands-on training, overseeing clinical decision-making, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development. This role is ideal for physicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care while shaping the next generation of OB/GYN professionals. Flexible schedules will include fourteen 12 hour shifts OR seven 24 hour shifts per month.
We are seeking physicians with the following qualifications:
- Current medical license (M.D. or D.O.)
- Board certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Certification in adult and neonatal resuscitation
- 5 year minimum of Labor and Delivery experience •
- Proficiency with hospital EMR systems
- A motivation to increase patient safety and elevate patient satisfaction, along with dynamic communication skills and the ability to fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, are required.
