AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking to employ an Advanced Practice Providers (APP) to join our new Electrophysiology Cardiology practice in Davenport, Florida. Monday-Friday. Position includes inpatient consults, follow-ups, along with device clinic.
Requirements for the position: Board Certified in your specific field and must have at least a year experience as APP and great knowledge of Electrophysiology, Cardiology.

AdventHealth Dade City/AdventHealth Zephyrhills is recruiting an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology. There are two office locations, Zephyrhills and Dade City. AdventHealth Zephyrhills has 149 beds and AdventHealth Dade City has 120 beds.
The Cardiac Electrophysiology Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) functions as a member of the Cardiovascular Services medical care management team. The Cardiac Electrophysiology APRN may diagnose medical conditions, plan, and implement treatment collaboratively agreed to in the Florida Hospital Physician Group medical staff delineation of clinical privileges for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses. Depending on the practice, the APRN may be required to take practice call.
Requirements for the position:
- Licensed as APRN in the State of Florida or ability to obtain
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a RN in the Cardiology setting
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Cardiology APRN and 1 year experience as a Cardiac Electrophysiology APRN preferred.
- Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

The role you’ll contribute:
The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner provides medical treatment under the supervision of the physicians for AdventHealth Medical Group. Conducts patient examinations and follow-ups, provides treatment plans, and counsels patients. May, in some cases, prescribe medication. This medical care will be provided within the framework of the hospital’s medical staff department’s policies and procedures. Works with complex surgical patients both pre- and post-operatively. Assists in major surgical procedures and performs minor procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide services similar to those of a physician.
- Examine patients, take medical histories, maintain patient records, identify health risk factors, prescribe medications, make referrals and otherwise treat health conditions.
- Sees patients both in the hospital setting and practice setting.
- Provides direct care with licensing credentials under the auspices of supervising MD.
